Yes, at this magical beach there was sea glass and odd-coral bits instead of sand. Apparently there was a dump nearby, where people threw glass and other debris into the ocean. The ocean reponded by spitting back polished and tumbled sea glass. Just one more reason Kauai is one of my favorite places on Earth.

Pretty! I know it probably sounds stupid, but I never knew sea glass was actually made from glass...I thought it some kind of neat-looking rock. Then again, I count on one hand the number of times I've seen the ocean...
